<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 0.25in; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">The site of the industry was surprisingly visited by officer of this office and on the basis of violation observed show cause notice for revocation of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was issued to the industry with an opportunity of personal hearing before Senior Environmental Engineer on 07.12.2023, wherein it was decided as under: - </span></p>

The component of ETP:- </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">Bar Screen – Oil & Grease Chamber - Equalization Tank – Chemical Dozing – Reaction cum Flocculator Tank – Sludge Drying Beds – Tube settler- MBBR – pre-filtration tank – Pressure Sand Filter- Activated Carbon Filter – Outlet into PSIEC sewer. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">The industry falls in red category in small scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 with suitable terms and conditions and special condition that: -</span></p>
