<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the industry is small scale orange category unit. The industry has applied a fresh for consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for production Forged steel parts (auto parts, agri parts) @ 1.0 MTD. The industry has deposited consent fee, which is adequate upto 31.12.2028.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Accordingly, the industry was visited by officer of RO on 19.12.2023 and 22.12.2023 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. The industry was in operation during the visit and is engaged in manufacturing of auto parts.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. The industry has installed 01 Hammer, 01 Short blast Machine, 03 no. power press, 01 Drill machine, 02 bench grinder, 01 lathe machine and 01 no. Oil fired furnace with adequate stack height. The industry has installed shot blast with in-built bag filter house as APCD with adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3. The industry has also installed 01 Welding set.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">4. The industry has installed 01 tanks for cooling water, it is using water for the cooling purpose and cooling water is re-circulated.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">5. There is no generation of trade effluent and only domestic effluent is being discharged MC sewer.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">6. The industry has not installed any DG set in its premises.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">7. The industry has submitted approved building plan from Sh. Sukhjinder Singh competent person recognized by Director of Factories, Punjab.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">8. The industry has submitted DTP certificate vide letter no. 2905 M2A dated 14.12.2023 and as per the site falls in industrial zone as per Master Plan of Ludhiana.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">9. The industry has submitted copy of UDYAM registration Certificate mentioning date of commencement as 01.04.2019, as proof of date of commissioning of the industry.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of RO report, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.12.2028 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.</p>
