CTOA/Varied/LDH3/2022/20107018 both dated 17.11.2022, valid upto 16.11.2023 each for Dyeing of Acrylic Yarn @ 2100 Kgs/day alongwith discharge of trade effluent @ 168 KLD & domestic effluent @ 01 KLD into the dedicated conveyance system leading to CETP of capacity 50 MLD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry has now applied for renewal of ‘Consents to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for dyeing of acrylic yarn @ 2100 kg/day alongwith discharge of trade effluent @ 168 KLD & domestic effluent @ 01 KLD into CETP 50 MLD conveyance system.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry has submitted requisite documents and adequate consent fee valid upto 30.06.2029 as verified by the Regional Office.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry was visited by AEE of RO on 23.12.2023 and reported that the industry was complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">It is pertinent to mention here that the wastewater sampling of the industry was carried out by the team of the concerned AEE along with Laboratory staff and as per analysis report, concentration of TDS is 1276 mg/l & pH is 5.8.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The industry has submitted letter issued by DTP, Ludhiana vide no. 1564 dated 10.05.2011 (attached in the documents), stating that the site of the industry falls in the industrial zone.</span></p>
