<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">It is submitted that the industry is a flour mill unit which falls under green category and is a small scale unit. The industry was earlier granted Consent to Establish (NOC) under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 vide nos. CTE/Fresh/FDK/2023/22387987 dated 11.07.2023, valid upto 14.07.2024 for establishment of flour mill for production of maida @ 30 MTD, Atta @ 20 MTD, Bran @ 12 MTD, Suji @ 6 TPH by using wheat @ 60 MTD, subject to the conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for fresh consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for operation of unit. The industry has submitted CA certificate dated 30.12.2023 showing gross fixed assets of the unit of Rs. 493.89 lakhs (including value of machinery of Rs. 227 lakhs) as on 12.12.2023. The industry has deposited Rs. 42000/- vide UTR/Ref. No. N353232791534235 dated 19.12.2023 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 42000/- vide UTR/Ref. No. N353232791526219 dated 19.12.2023 under the Air Act, 1981. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate up to 31.12.2028. It is pertinent to mention here that the Board vide office order no. CEE(HQ)/F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 02.02.2016 decided to grant auto renewal of consent to operate / establish to orange & green category of industries within 07 days of its application submission without the need for visiting the site / premises of the industry in order to facilitate the industry / ease of doing business in the State. Further, submitted that no complaint has been received against the industry in this office and no action is lying pending against the industry as per file record. As per this order, the data, processes & pollution control measures installed by the industry shall be verified at later stage by visiting the site as per inspection guidelines.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for operation of the unit for production of maida @ 30 MTD, Atta @ 20 MTD, Bran @ 12 MTD, Suji @ 6 TPH by using wheat @ 60 MTD a period upto 31.12.2028 with special condition that the consent is subject to the verification of provisions of Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 at a later stage. If the unit is found violating the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981, the consents to operate granted to the industry under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 would be revoked / cancelled without any opportunity of show cause notice.</span></p>
