<p style="text-align: justify;"> The report /recommendations of Regional Office be persued.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> It is intimated that the industry is large scale orange category plywood unit and was granted varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which are valid upto 31.12.2023 . Now, the industry has appalied for renewal and deposited adequate fee upto 30.09.2027.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> The effluent sampling was carried out by the officers of this office on 17.05.2023 from the outlet of the ETP and STP and as per analysis report received from ZO Lab Jalandhar vide no.1564-66 dated 30.05.2023, the parameters of ETP are pH- 8.2, TSS (mg/l) 11, TDS (mg/l) 1280, COD (mg/l) – 108, BOD (mg/l) 12, O & G (Mg/l) BDL, and the parameters of STP are pH- 7.8, TSS (mg/l)- 36, TDS (mg/l)- 575, COD (mg/l)- 86, BOD (mg/l)- 18 and O & G (mg/l) – BDL, the concentration of various parameters is within the limits prescribed by the Board. The industry is having adequate plantation area and developed as per karnal technology. The industry is complying with the consent conditions.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> May if approved, consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for the period upto 30.09.2027 with suitable terms and conditions and with special condition that:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1) The industry shall not made any expansion without prior permission of the Board.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2) The industry shall complying with the guidelines issued by the PPCB/CPC</p>
