<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">It is intimated that the industry is a small-scale red category. Earlier Directions u/s 31-A of Air Act, 1981 for closure of the industry was confirmed as industry was violating the provisions of Air Act, 1974 due to emitting black smoke. Accordingly, the consent was revoked and thereafter the industry applied for consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS on 26.07.2022 along with request for restoration of electric connection and same was granted vide no. CTOA/Fresh/LDH4/2022/19425781 dated 04/08/2022, up to 03/11/2022 with certain conditions along with temporary restoration of electric connection.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">Thereafter, the industry has again applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981through OCMMS on 12.10.2022, which was granted upto 22.06.2023 along with restoration of electric supply temporary up to 06 months i.e. 22.06.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">Further, direction u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 was issued to the industry for close down its operation, due to the industry was found operating 04 no. soft flow machines (350 KG) and was found discharging untreated effluent into sewer through flexible pipe.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">There after the industry was granted varied of Consent to Operate under the <a name="_Hlk156210031"></a>Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/LDH4/2023/22925847 dated 07.08.2023, which is valid upto 06.02.2024 for discharge of Trade Effluent @ 993.75 KLD into CETP 40 MLD (Focal Point Module) and Domestic Effluent @ 6.25 KLD into CETP 40 MLD (Focal Point Module) and under the <a name="_Hlk156210047"></a>Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/LDH4/2023/22556996 dated 07.08.2023, which is valid upto 06.02.2024 for production Knitted Cloth @ 27300 Kg/day, Dyeing and Finishing of Polyester Fabric @ 27300 Kg/Day, OR Dyeing and Finishing of PC/Cotton Fabric @ 10920 Kg/day and Printing of Fabrics @ 5000 Kg/day alongwith temporary restoration upto six months i.e. 06.02.2024. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">Now the industry has applied for renewal of Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The industry has deposited amounting Rs. 45000/- vide R.no. 471663896 dated 12.01.2024 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 66600/- vide R.no. 935178108 dated 12.01.2024 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.06.2028.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">The industry was visited by undersigned on 03.01.2024 and it was observed as under: -</span></p>

The industry has been visited twice after imposition of B.G. and same has been find complying with the pollution control laws. The industry will be visited once more time to decide the BG as per the protocol framed by the Board and same will be processed through e-noting.</span></p>

Further, the industry has provisions of using rise husk and pet coke as fuel and alkali scrubber has been provided by the industry and same will be in operation when industry will use pet coke as fuel. The industry has also provided SO2 meter and pH meter.</span></p>
