<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">OF AUTOMOBILE, TRACTOR AND AGRICULTURE PARTS ETC @ 5.5 TPD. </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The <span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">industry has submitted certificate issued by DTP, Ludhiana vide letter no. 2412 dated 20.09.2023 stating that the site of the industry falls in industrial zone as per the approved Master Plan, Ludhiana (2007-31). </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>On perusal of the project report submitted by the industry, the project proponent has submitted following proposals :-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has proposed to install one Induction furnace of capacity 500 TPH<span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"> and one D.G set of capacity 100 KVA.</span></span></p>

PSCST/TFD/550 dated 18.12.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">There will be no generation of trade effluent from the process and only domestic effluent shall be discharge onto land for plantation after septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Accordingly, the site of the industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 15.01.2024 and it was observed that :-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">A<strong>pplicability of 1st schedule of Factory Act, 1948 & EIA notification dated 14.09.2006 :-</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">•<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry does not attract the provisions of EIA notification dated 14.09.2006, as such, the industry is not required to obtain environmental clearance under the EIA notification dated 14.09.2006. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">•<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The Govt. of Punjab, Department of Labour (Directorate of Factories Wing) vide Endst. No. 7346-59 dated 27.08.2013 has decided that the factories located/ to be set up in the designated/approved areas such as Industrial Area/ Industrial Estate/ Industrial Focal Point/ Approved Industrial Park/ Industrial Zone of the Master Plan/ Draft Master Plan are exempted for clearance of site from SCA-cum-SAC. The industry is located in designated industrial zone i.e Industrial area –C.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: red;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that :- </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">A<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The project proponent may be granted Consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 may be granted for one year with appropriate conditions, please.</span></p>
