<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 18pt; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Kindly peruse the complete note of AEE. It has been noted that the industry is required to make compliance of EC conditions fully and also need to clarify about disposal of cooling tower blow-down as well as floor washing. Moreover, there are open vents with the reactors operated during filling / draining, which are required to be connected with the emission control system. Also, the industry has yet not submitted full compliance of decision of hearing held before Chairman of the Board on 08.06.2023 (report from Deptt. Of Factories and installation of chlorine gas sensors/ analyzers not reported by industry).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 18pt; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">It is further informed that the unit has not deposited adequate NOC fee alongwith consent fee and the adequacy of Total NOC/ Consent fee is only upto 11-01-2024. The industry shall deposit balance fee to Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 18pt; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Considering the point that no major violation regarding discharge of effluent/emissions was observed during the visit, it is therefore recommended that show cause notice for violation of provisions of Water Act, 19743 and Air Act, 1981 be issued to the industry to reply within 15 days, well before refusal of consents.</span></p>
