<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 35.45pt;"><em><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">1.</span></em><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> <em><span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The industry shall submit permissibility certificate from Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, within 15 days</span></em></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 35.45pt;"><em><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">2.</span></em><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> <em><span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The Environmental Engineer, Regional Office-1, Ludhiana shall visit the industry and process consent applications in compliance of decision no. 1</span></em></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.45pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Sweaters @ 600 Numbers/day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;"> The industry was visited by RO on 08.01.2024 and it was reported as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">1. <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The industry was not in operation during the visit due to off season.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">2. <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">In compliance to decision no. 1 of the personal hearing, the industry has submitted Govt. notification dated 06.10.2023 regarding regularization of units in non-designated area. As per the approved master plan Ludhiana, the area where the unit is situated falls in Mix land use area. Further as per Govt. of Punjab notification dated 06.10.2023, relief has been given to existing industry operating in residential zone and has been allowed to operate for further 3 years i.e. upto 10.09.2026 subject to fulfillment of PPCB norms. <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">3. <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">All the machinery installed by the industry is non-polluting in nature, except two no. washing machines.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">4. <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The industry has provided physiochemical ETP of capacity 4 KLD for the treatment of trade effluent, and the effluent after treatment is discharged into sewer. The ETP comprises of collection tank-chemical dozing-floculator-settler-prefilteration tank-MGF and ACF.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">5. <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The industry has provided EMF at the outlet of ETP and also on the source of fresh water.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">6. <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The domestic effluent is also discharged into sewer.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 36.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">7. <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The industry has installed one baby boiler of capacity 500 kg with adequate stack height, the industry has also installed nos. D.G. sets of capacity 64 KVA with canopy & adequate stack height.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;"> The deposited consent fee is adequate upto 30.09.2028.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">RO recommended that 'Consent to Operate' under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 10.09.2026 with suitable conditions and a</span><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">dditional conditions that the industry shall get its trade effluent sampling analysed from the Boards lab within one month. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">If approved, consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 be granted to industry <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">up to 10.09.2026 </span>as proposed by RO, please.</span></p>
