<p style="text-align: justify;">The note of RO may kindly be perused. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Earlier, the directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and 31-A of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 were issued to the hotel with following directions:</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">1. </span><span lang="EN-US">That, hotel management shall stop fresh bookings of rooms with immediate effect including booking being done through online booking agencies.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">2. </span><span lang="EN-US">That, hotel management shall issue notice to present customers to vacate hotel within 7 days from the date of the issue of directions with written communication to the respective online booking agencies.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">3. </span><span lang="EN-US">That, hotel management shall not allow new occupancy in room even in case there is pre-booking and respective customers shall be informed directly as well as through respective online booking agencies.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">4. </span><span lang="EN-US">That, restaurant, kitty hall or any other activity in hotel shall be stopped, with immediate effect.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">5. </span><span lang="EN-US">That, hotel shall comply with above directions and discrepancies pointed out by the Board, including obtaining Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, within 15 days.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">Now, the hotel has applied for fresh Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">The hotel has submitted all the requisite documents and requisite fee as verified by the RO. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">The hotel had </span>already been visited by JEE of RO-3 on 16.08.2023 and it was observed that the hotel was complying with the provisions of the Air Act, 1981.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The hotel has also submitted permissibility certificate issued by ATP, Ludhiana vide letter no. 998/ATP-D dated 22.12.2023 for the site and as per which the hotel is permissible on the site. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As proposed by RO, may if approved:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. <span lang="EN-US">Consent to operate applied by the hotel under</span> Air Act, 1981<span lang="EN-US"> may be granted to the hotel upto 30.06.202</span>7<span lang="EN-US">.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">2. <span lang="EN-US">Directions already issued u/s 31-A of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be dropped, please.</span></p>
