<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;" align="justify"><span style="mso-spacerun: 'yes'; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-fareast-font-family: 等线; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0000pt;">The industry was visited by the undersigned on 15/01/2024 and during visit, it was observed that a drainage system alongside the boundary wall was causing effluent to flow into the adjacent forest land. Upon closer examination, it was observed that one outlet was specifically designed to discharge tap water into the drain, which was being utilized by the labor force and subsequently released into the drain.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;" align="justify"><span style="mso-spacerun: 'yes'; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-fareast-font-family: 等线; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 11.0000pt;">During visit, the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) was operational and the treated effluent being disposed of onto the land for plantation after undergoing treatment. Samples were collected from the ETP outlet and areas of stagnation in the forest land outside the industry during the visit. The samples have been sent to the head office laboratory for analysis.</span></p>
