<p>The industry was visited by the Officer of the Board on 12.01.2024 and observed that:-</p>
<p> </p>
<p>1. The industry was in operation.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>2. The industry has installed extruder machine equipped with wet scrubber along with recirculation system as APCD to contain the flue emissions from processing area. During visit this section was not in operation.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>3. The industry is engaged in the washing of the plastic waste. The settling tank provided have been de-sludged and the effluent after reciculation was being re-used for washing purposes with pipe and pump arrangement. The industry has cleared the earlier disposed sludge.</p>

<p>4. The industry has stopped its operation in extra land and was operating in earlier designated land area and has cleared some of the stored plastic waste heaps.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>5. The industry has stopped discharging its treated effluent into the adjoining field by plugging the pipe arrangement. </p>
<p>Now, the industry has deposited more consent fee of Rs. 10800/- each under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2028.</p>
<p>The industry is complying with the conditions of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Keeping in view the above, it is recommended that the industry be granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for a period upto 30.09.2028 with suitable conditions along with special condition that this consent has been granted to enable the project proponent to facilitate it to obtain EPR registarion under PWM Rules, 2016, failing which the consent may be cancelled and further action against the project proponent may be issued without any further notice., please.</p> |
