<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Sir, the industry has applied for NOC for under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents for </span><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">CASTING OF AUTOMOBILE, TRACTOR AND AGRICULTURE PARTS ETC</span><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> @ 5.5 TPD. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">On perusal of the project report submitted by the industry, the project proponent has submitted following proposals :-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 35.45pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">1. The industry has proposed to install one Induction furnace of capacity 500 TPH and one D.G set of capacity 100 KVA.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 35.45pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">2. The industry has submitted the feasibility report from PSCST vide letter no. PSCST/TFD/550 dated 18.12.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 35.45pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">3. There will be no generation of trade effluent from the process and only domestic effluent shall be discharge onto land for plantation after septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> Accordingly, the site of the industry was visited by RO on 15.01.2024 and it was reported that :-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 35.45pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">1. The industry has submitted certificate issued by DTP, Ludhiana vide letter no. 2412 dated 20.09.2023 stating that the site of the industry falls in industrial zone as per the approved Master Plan, Ludhiana (2007-31). As such the industry is permitted to establish at the current site.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 35.45pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">2. The industry has constructed the boundary wall, however no machinery as yet arrived at site.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> The industry is located in designated industrial zone.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">In view of the above, it is recommended that Consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the project proponent for one year with suitable conditions, please.</span></p>
