File Note: <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 0.5in; text-indent: -0.25in; text-align: justify;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The project is a residential colony.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;NOC was granted to the project for development in 16 acres land area on 06.11.2012 and further extended upto 31.10.2015 for developing 68 residential plots, 51 no. EWS plot, 1 no. club house and for discharge of domestic effluent @ 65 KLD, onto land for plantation/irrigation after treatment in STP. The project report submitted at that time was 14.20 crore.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Now application applied for obtaining CTOs under the Water Act, 1974 &amp; Air Act, 1981 for development of 30 residential plots, 1 no. club house containing 15 hotel rooms, 10 meeting rooms, 01 conference hall, 01 no. restaurant &amp; 01 marriage hall. The CA certificate now submitted with the application is of Rs. 1.79 crore and the project proponent has submitted that at the time of obtaining NOC the fixed assets were erroneously mentioned as Rs. 14.20 crore.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The STP of capacity 30 KLD installed as per the completion certificate dated 18.01.2024.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The visiting officer has further reported that the site was visited on 03.01.2024 and found that 05 no. houses have been occupied and 04 no. are under construction alongwith 1 no. club house containing 15 hotel rooms, 10 meeting rooms, 01 conference hall, 01 no. restaurant &amp; 01 marriage hall. STP of 30 KLD installed. Discharge onto land for plantation developed in an area of 0.9 acres under parks &amp; green belts and in an area of 1.64 acres along the road sides, pathway etc. Network provided for distribution of treated effluent into the plantation area, which is adequate. Two compost pits provided for management of wet solid waste and dry waste is lifted by the Local MC.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;In view of above, if approved, consent to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 &amp; Air Act, 1981 be granted to the project upto 30.09.2028 for 10 residential houses, 1 no. club house containing 15 hotel rooms, 10 meeting rooms, 01 conference hall, 01 no. restaurant &amp; 01 marriage hall, subject to the following special conditions that:-</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span lang="EN-IN">The project promoter will submit information regarding status of construction/occupancy of residential houses and commercial shops after every six months, ending June and December of every year and in case the no. of residential houses and commercial shops is considerably more than the consented nos., the project promoter will apply for varied consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span lang="EN-IN">The project proponent will be bound to increase the capacity of the STP alongwith adequate disposal arrangement, if at any time the quantum of generation of effluent increases beyond 30 KLD.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span lang="EN-IN">The project proponent will not use any fresh water in the green area/ plantation developed inside the project premises and will make adequate arrangements to reuse the treated effluent for watering of green areas in the project premises.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span lang="EN-IN">The project proponent will ensure that the municipal solid waste generated from its colony is handled in an environmentally sound manner and the Bio degradable solid waste shall be managed through in-house treatment, in compliance to the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span lang="EN-IN">The project proponent shall also develop the vermicomposting/composting to manage the biodegradable solid waste and shall not throw, burn or bury any solid wastes in open, outside premises or in drain / water bodies.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span lang="EN-IN">The project proponent shall perform / promote its Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities as well as use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span lang="EN-IN">The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">Competency: SEE</span></p>
