<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; color: black;">Sir, it is submitted that the Board has issued an office order for categorization of industries for left out sectors " cardboard or corrugated box" vide no. 277 dated 04/08/2023, wherein the industries namely Cardboard or Corrugated Box and paper product (excluding paper or pulp manufacturing) having waste water generation less than 100 KLD or using liquid /solid fuel up to 24 MTD (except DG set) or both are kept under "<strong><u>ORANGE</u></strong>" category at serial no 2119.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; color: black;">Accordingly, in this case, the industry has installed 1 no. boiler of capacity 4 TPH which is based on bio briuettes as fuel having consumption @ 3.0 TPD. Moreover, the industry will not carry out any washing of ink rollers and the ink will be removed from them by wiping off using cloth only, thereby generating hazardous waste of category 21.1.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; color: black;">Therefore, the category of the industry is Orange only. </span></p> |
