The project falls under small scale orange category.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white; margin: .55pt 2.45pt 8.0pt 6.7pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The project proponent has deposited NOC fee&nbsp;Rs. 18,000/- vide UTR no. CBINH23233390206 dated 21/08/2023 against the proposed cost of Rs. 947.45 lakhs, which is adequate for one year.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white; margin: .55pt 2.45pt 8.0pt 6.7pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The project proponent has submitted letter given by Local Government, Punjab for change of land use vide memo no. PB/CLU/BNN/BARNA/3381 dated 11-04-2023 for developing a residential colony in an area of 15.58875 acres.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white; margin: .55pt 2.45pt 8.0pt 6.7pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The project proponent has submitted a copy of report from Tehsildar as per which there is no any brick kiln, hot mix plant, cement grinding unit, stone crusher and any other polluting industry in the radius of 500 mtr from the site of the project. There is a rice sheller in the radius of 75 mtr of the site. The site is proposed to develop 15 mtr green buffer zone towards the rice sheller.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white; margin: .55pt 2.45pt 8.0pt 6.7pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The project proponent has proposed to use 94 KLD of fresh water. It will generate approx. 75 KLD of domestic effluent and the same will be treated in its STP. The treated waste water will be used in gardening.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white; margin: .55pt 2.45pt 8.0pt 6.7pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The project proponent has also proposed the discharge of treated effluent into MC Sewer. The project proponent in this regard has also submitted the permission given by the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Sub-Divisional, Barnala vide letter no. 324 dated 06.06.2023 regarding discharge of 75 KLD effluent of sewage into MC sewer leading to STP, Barnala.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white; margin: .55pt 2.45pt 8.0pt 6.7pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The project proponent has also proposed 5182.52 sqm (1.2 acres) area to be develop under parks and green strips in this colony. However, there is a rice sheller at the distance of 75 mtr from the boundary wall of the project. It is also proposed that all the staff members will be adequately trained on the same and collected waste will be sent to the local authority. Generated STP sludge will be used as manure at the site for landscaping and greenbelt development.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white; margin: 0in 2.45pt 8.0pt 6.7pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The total area of the project is less than 50 Hectare, hence, the project is not covered under Environmental Clearance.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white; margin: 0in 2.45pt 8.0pt 6.7pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">From the above, it is evident that, the site of the project is suitable for establishment of such projects.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white; margin: 0in 2.45pt 8.0pt 6.7pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Keeping in view of above, if approved, the consent to establish (NOC) for development of a residential colony at Near Moga T-Point, Barnala, Nihal Singh Wala Road, Barnala, Punjab in an area of&nbsp;15.8875 Acres may be granted with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and with special condition that the project proponent will be bound to develop the adequate plantation area as per Karnal Technology with long trees for the disposal of its entire treated effluent @ 75 KLD if permission to discharge treated sewage into MC sewer not granted by MC/PWSSB.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white; margin: 0in 2.45pt 8.0pt 78.65pt;"><strong><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Competency SEE</span></strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white; margin: 0in 2.45pt .0001pt 6.7pt;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: red;">&nbsp;</span></p>
