<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Sir, it is submitted that clarification raised as following:</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">1.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>What is the production capacity for which TOR has been applied by the industry?</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">2.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Whether, the varied consents with increased production capacity could be granted to the industry, who is yet to obtain EC.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">3.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Whether, the condition that “the industry shall not carry out any activity, which covered under the ambit of EIA Notification, 2006” is applicable in this situation, when the industry has already applied for TOR.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Point wise reply:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">1.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>The industry has applied for TOR for the capacity of 275 MTD (82500 TPA).</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">2.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>No, the industry may be granted consent to operate for existing capacity @ 200 MTD which is having with the industry at the time of notification dated 20 July 2022 for re-rolling mill subject to the additional special condition that the industry shall not increase its production capacity more than 200 MTD and will apply for NOC (Expansion)/varied consent to operate when the industry will obtain EC.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">3.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Yes, the industry could not carry out any activity until it obtain EC.</p>
