As per the said guidelines, the poultry farms are classified as under:</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">1.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Small (5,000-25,000 bird)</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">2.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Medium (above 25,000-1,00,000 birds).</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">3.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Large (above 1,00,000 birds)</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">The broiler farm has deposited Rs. 2700/- (Rs. 2200/- as NOC fee + Rs. 500/- application fee) through online vide UTR no. N003242813343405 dated 03.01.2024 as NOC fee against the proposed value of fixed assets Rs. 28.0 lacs, which is adequate.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">The broiler farm has submitted Tehsildar report dated 20.12.2023 as per which the site of the broiler farm falls in Khasra No. 281//4(8-0) total measuring land 8 Kanal 0 Marle in the revenue estate of Village Kaleke, Tehsil Dhanaula &amp; Distt. Barnala. Tehsildar report is stating as under:-</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 91.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -19.5pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">The broiler farm has submitted a copy of aks latha, fard, land registry, site plan, project report along with the application form.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">To verify the facts, the site of the broiler farm has been visited by the officer of this office on 09/01/2024 and it was observed as under:-</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 67.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Century; mso-bidi-font-family: Century;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">The site of the unit is situate at Village Kaleke, Tehsil Dhanaula and Distt. Also no national highway and state highway in the radius of 100 m of poultry farm. Also there is no residential area/ 15 pucca houses within 500 meters of this poultry farm. As such, the site is suitable for the above said establishment of the unit.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 67.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Century; mso-bidi-font-family: Century;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">The broiler farm will not generate any trade effluent. However, domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD will be discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 67.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Century; mso-bidi-font-family: Century;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">The representative informed that the bird droppings will be given to the farmers as manure</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 67.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Century; mso-bidi-font-family: Century;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">The broiler farm has proposed to install D.G set of capacity 62.5 KVA. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">No complaint is pending against the broiler farm. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to establish (CTE) may be granted to the broiler farm for one year, for the establishment of broiler farm of capacity 7000 number/day, subject to the suitable conditions and with special condition that the poultry farm will comply with the Environmental Guidelines issued by the CPCB.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">Competency Environmental Engineer</span></strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century',serif;">&nbsp;</span></p>
