A complaint was received against the industry regarding pollution caused by the fumes arising from the acid. After visiting, it was found that the acid fumes were not properly captured / contained in the process shed. Accordingly directions were confirmed against the industry u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 amd 31-A pf the Air Act, 1981 and electric connections were disconnected.</span></p>

Stack of adequate height with the scrubber along with proper sampling arrangements have been provided.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">But RO has not collect the Air emission sample and industry has failed to submit the record of water consumption of temporary restoration period. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">If approved show cause notice may be issued to industry for refusal of consent under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 with the reason that the industry has failed to submit the analysis of air emission during temporary restoration period and also failed to submit the record of water consumption of temporary restoration period.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"> Ro may be requested to explain the reason why the air emission was not collected during visit on 11.01.2023 as per condition of temporary restroration period.</span></p>
