CTOW/Fresh/BTI/2018/7672917</span> <span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">and CTOA/Fresh/BTI/2018/7673266 dt. 22.06.2018 for operation of health care facility of bed capacity 10 beds, which were expired on 31.03.2022 for discharge of effluent into public sewer after treatment with 10% sodium hypochlorite solution..</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The HCF has granted authorization under BMW Rules, 2016 vide no. BMW/Renewal/BTI/2018/7670892 dt. 14.06.2018 for capacity 10 beds, which was valid upto 31.03.2021. Now, the HCF has applied for renewal of authorization under the BMW Rules, 2016, which is under process.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The hospital has applied for renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for operation of health care facility of bed capacity 10 beds </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; background: white;">on the name of M/s Amar Hospital along with consent fee under Water Act, 1974 of Rs. 5000/- vide UTR no. KKBKH24004952359 dated 04.01.2024 and under Air Act, 1981 of Rs. 5000/- vide UTR no. KKBKH24004952236 dated 04.01.2024 which is adequate upto </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">31.03.2027 under both the acts</span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; background: white;">The HCF has submitted copy of an agreement of 10 beds executed with common facility of M/s Med Waste Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Bidowali authorized by the Board for Non-Bedded wherein MEM has under taken the liability of collection, transportation and treatment / disposal of Bio-Medical Waste generating from the hospital. The agreement is valid upto <strong><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">31.03.2028</span></strong>.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The Board vide order no 229 dated 14.09.2023 has decided to facilitate the entrepreneurs with "Auto generation of renewal of consent to establish / operate / authorization of any category of Small Scale industries / projects / Health Care Facilities <strong>(upto 50 beds)</strong> and Hazardous Waste generating industries” on the basis of self-declaration by these entrepreneurs and shall be without any inspection / physical verification by the officers of the PPCB.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The Board vide order No./379 dated 23.10.2023 has decided that the HCF upto 30 bed capacity which are discharging their liquid waste into public sewer and operating within MC limit of town where terminal STP have been installed shall be granted consent to operate as well as authorization without installation of individual ETP as an interim arrangement subject to the condition that HCF shall ensure to comply with the effluent standards as notified by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change under the Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 as amended upto dated and subsequent amendments if any. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">In the present case, the HCF has bed capacity of 10 no. The HCF has attached proof of sewerage connection.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The hospital is complying with the provisions of the Biomedical Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 as well as provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
