<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Sir, the industry is a small scale red category unit having valid consent upto 31.01.2024 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">A complaint was received against the industry regarding pollution caused by the fumes arising from the acid. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">After visiting, it was found that the acid fumes were not properly captured / contained in the process shed. Accordingly directions were confirmed against the industry u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 amd 31-A pf the Air Act, 1981 and electric connections were disconnected.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry, was visited by RO on 11.01.2023 and it was reported as under:-</span></p>
