<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry has applied for consent to establish under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 in green category/ small scale to prepare Ready Mix Concrete @ 125 MTD as per the prevailing policy. The details of the case are as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Ø The industry has submitted lease deed of land for its site measuring 08 Kanals 17.1/3 marla in the revenue estate at Ubhawal Road, Sangrur.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Ø The industry has also submitted an undertaking, which is reproduced in agenda note.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry was visited by officer of the Board on 25.01.2024 and it was observed as under-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The industry is located in the revenue estate of revenue estate at Ubhawal Road (near kisan poultry farm), Sangrur and during visit, it was found in operation with its ready mix machinery.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The industry has submitted an undertaking that the site falls under the industrial zone as per the Maste Plan of Sangrur.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The industry has provided the septic tank for treatment of its domestic effluent and the provision has been made to discharge the treated wastewater onto land for plantation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The industry has provided 1 no. DG set of capacity 125 KVA, equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The industry has provided one number batch mixed plant in the premises. The industry has also provided dust collector as APCD</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The movement area has been stabilized by compacting soil strata and no dust emmissions were observed during visit.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As the industry has submitted an undertaking that it falls within the industrial area as per master plan of Sangrur. Thus the site is suitable.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">If approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.12.2026, subject to the suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and a copy of the consent be sent to DTP Sangrur with request to submit the classification of the area of the site of the industry and if the site doesnot fall in the industrial area as per master plan of Sangrur, then the consent granted will be revoked and the action will be initiated against the industry.</p> |
