<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt;">It is submitted that the industry is a small-scale red category unit. The industry has applied for obtaining consent to operate under Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with requisite documents and fee.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt;">The industry has deposited Rs. 11,000/- vide Receipt No. 901432572 dated 02.01.2024 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 11,000/- vide Receipt No. 877873129 dated 05.01.2024 under Air Act, 1981 against the total cost of fixed assets is Rs. 25.00 lacs as on 31.03.2023, both are adequate upto<span style="color: red;"> </span>30.06.2026 after adjusting NOC regularization fee and VDS fee.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt;">The industry has submitted land classification letter issued by DTP SAS Nagar vide no. 2036 dated 20.10.2022 as per which the site falls under FEZ zone as per GMADA Regional Plan. As such the operation of the industry can be regularized.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt;">The industry has submitted the copy of GST certificate as proof of commissioning vide no. 03COWPD0372J1ZV dated 02.03.2021 of proprietor Sh. Subhajit Das.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt;">The industry has submitted the copy of registered deed issued on 28.06.2021 between Sh. Aman Gupta (First Party) and Sh. Subhajit Das Owner of MAA KALI INDUS<span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">TRIES (Second Party) at village Bhagwanpur, Tehsil Derabassi, Distt. SAS Nagar.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt;">The industry has submitted approved site plan prepared by Er. Rajnish Kumar Singla competent person from Director of Factories, Punjab.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt;">The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 20.01.2024 and it was observed as under:</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -17.25pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry was in operation and is engaged in the process of electroplating.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -17.25pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has installed 06 no. zinc plating barrels out of which 3 were in operation during the visit.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -17.25pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has provided fresh water meter in the process and was advised to maintain the record regarding fresh water consumption and disposal of trade effluent on daily basis.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -17.25pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has provided underground storage tank of capacity 4000 ltr and about 500 ltr effluent was lying stored in the tank.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -17.25pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has executed an agreement dated 18.05.2023 with M/s Bantech Water Private Limited, Kurali for lifting of trade effluent @ 4000 ltrs/month.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -17.25pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The domestic effluent is discharge onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -17.25pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has not installed any D.G set in its premises, as such there is no other source of air pollution.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt;">That the M/s JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>has been given permission for lifting of 10 KL of electroplating effluent from the member industries of Mohali vide Board’s letter no. 4754-55 dated 11.07.2023 and the industry has last got lifted 2000 ltr of electroplating effluent on 19.01.2024.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 72.0pt;">In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2026 with suitable and special condition that:</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 54.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level4 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">a)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall maintain proper record of the freshwater to be consumed in its process at all times.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 54.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level4 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">b)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall get its trade effluent lifted through operator of CETP, only and shall maintain a proper record of lifting of the same, at all times.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 54.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level4 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">c)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall not discharge any effluent at any unauthorized place by any unauthorized means i.e. shall not discharge any wastewater in any drain / inland surface waters / drain/choe/nallah/ onto land for stagnation at any time, under any circumstances.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 54.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level4 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">d)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall develop its project strictly in accordance with the layout / building plans approved / to be approved by the Competent Authority.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 54.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level4 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">e)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall ensure that due to operation of the project at the site, no nuisance for general public is created at any time and no public complaints are received.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 54.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level4 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">f)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The Consent is being granted to the industry based upon the undertaking/ documents/ information submitted by it along with the online application form. The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 54.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level4 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">g)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->In case the industry fails to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to the project and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, action as deemed fit shall be taken against the industry.</p>
