<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that earlier the industry was granted consent to operate vide no. </span>CTOW/Varied/MOG/2022/20510246 & CTOA/Varied/MOG/2022/20510245 <span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">dated </span>21.12.2022 <span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">for operation of rice sheller unit for manufacturing of Raw Rice with Dryer @ 8 TPH, sorted rice @ 3 TPH under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981, valid upto 30.09.2026 with conditions mentioned therein. Thereafter, the industry has obtained NOC for expansion vide no. CTE/Exp/MOG/2023/22826474 dated 31.07.2023 for manufacturing of Raw Rice With Dryer @ 8 TPH OR Steamed Rice @ 8 TPH, Sorted Rice @ 3 TPH by installing boiler of capacity 5 TPH by replacing boiler of capacity 1 TPH, valid upto 31.07.2024 alongwith conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Raw rice or steamed rice @ 8 TPH along with sorted rice @ 3 TPH the details of the case is as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted copy of CA certificate dated 19.01.2024, value of fixed assets of Rs. 234.76 lakhs (including value of machinery head of Rs. 138.64 lakhs). Accordingly, the industry has deposited additional consent fee of Rs. 16800/- vide UTR / Ref. No. SBIN424015761231 dated 15.01.2024 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 16800/- vide UTR / Ref. No. SBIN424015761672 dated 15.01.2024 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate for a period upto 30.09.2026 under both the Acts.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Thereafter, the industry was visited by undersigned on 25.01.2024 and it was observed as under:</span></p>

Now, the industry has installed additional boiler of capacity of 5 TPH by replacing existing boiler of capacity 1 TPH, 01 no. dryer, 01 no. paddy cleaner with handies to manufacturing of steamed rice @ 5 TPH after expansion capacity of the industry is as under:</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo3; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .5in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">·<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">The industry has provided 02 no. paddy pre cleaner with cyclone as APCD, separately to contain the flue emissions and the same was found in line / operationable conditions with dust emitting points connected to the APCD.</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 5.65pt .0001pt 0in;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 as well as code of practice prescribed by the Govt. vide order dt. 15.10.2013. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 5.65pt .0001pt 0in;">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that varied Consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Raw rice or steamed rice @ 8 TPH along with sorted rice @ 3 TPH may be granted to the industry for a period upto 30.09.2028 / adequacy of consent fee with suitable conditions and specific conditions as under:</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry will not operate parboiling section for production of saila rice and will not provide water supply pipe line with the handies without prior permission of the Board.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry will not discharge any trade effluent from the process.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall not consume any fuel except rice husk in boiler section and dryer furnace for burning purposes without the prior written permission of the Board. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall dispose of fuel ash generated from the operation of boiler and dryer furnace in an environmentally sound manner and shall also maintain the record, in this regard.</span></p>
