The industry is small scale red category unit and it is engaged in the manufacturing of zinc-plating of cycle parts/Hardware..............
Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 through OCMMS on 06.01.2024 for production of zinc-plating of cycle parts/Hardware @ 03 TPD by using Cycle Parts/Hardware @ 03 TPH as raw material. The details of manufacturing process are raw material, cutting, barreling, zinc-plating, it is only carrying out zinc-plating of cycle parts/Hardware.............
The industry has deposited consents which is adequate upto 30.06.2028..........
Accordingly, the industry was visited by the AEE of RO on 09.01.2024 and it was observed as under:..................
1. The industry was in operation during the visit........
2. It is has applied under VDS scheme........
3. The industry is engaged in the zinc-plating of cycle parts..........
4. The industry has provided new water meter on the source of fresh water supply........
5. The industry is maintaining the record of water consumed in the process. The effluent generation and lifting is found in consonance with water consumption..............
6. The industry has done agreement with M/s JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana @ 3000 Ltr./Month for the treatment & disposal of trade effluent generated from process..........
7. The industry was advised to maintain separate register and the record of water consumption in process as well as effluent lifted by CETP operator i.e. M/s JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana.............
8. There is no any air polluting machinery i.e. fuel based boiler or furnace, installed in its premises..............
In view of above, If approved, consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2028 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and special conditions that the industry shall submit approved building plan from director of factories, Chandigarh (Punjab), please............
