The application has been perused and it has been observed as under:.......................
1. The project proponent has submitted the agreement with Sh. Mandeep Singh Grewal for utilization of treated domestic effluent for irrigation of crops in 5.04 acres, but, the demand of irrigation of crops is restricted to a specific number of days and not on everyday basis. Thus, the project proponent does not have adequate land/arrangements/concrete proposal for utilization of treated effluent at the time of full occupancy of project........................
2. Regional Office has not submitted compliance of the notification issued by the Department of Science, Technology and Environment on 25.07.2008...................
In light of above, may if approved, notice for refusal of consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be issued to the project proponent with an opportunity of show cause within 03 days. Further Regional Office be also requested to comment upon observation no. 2 as above, please............................
