Kindly peruse the reply of AEE. In view of the facts mentioned in the note of AEE, it is clear that the industry is complying with the conditions of consent to operate as well as EC conditions except 33% plantation area. The industry has developed plantation in an area of 30%.
In view of above, it is recommended that 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be renewed upto 30/09/2027 to the industry with suitable conditions and special condition that:
1. The industry will not generate and discharge any trade effluent without obtaining prior written permission of the Board.
2. The industry shall provide online display board to display data of hazardous waste outside the main factory gate.
3. The industry shall continue to comply with all the conditions of Environmental Clearance granted to it in true letter & spirit.
4 The industry shall not use any scrap containing Hazardous waste like shockers containing waste oil.
5. The industry shall get the OCEMS connected with the server of the Punjab Pollution Control Board within 01 month.
