It is intimated that the industry is a small scale orange category unit. The industry has applied for fresh of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 along with requisite documents. The industry has submitted approved building plan from architect approved by Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry has submitted MSME certificate as a proof of date of commissioning. The site of the industry falls in industrial zone as per the khasra number mentioned in gazzete notification. The industry has deposited Rs. 3850/- vide R. No. N023242845949679 dated 23.01.2024 (water) Rs. 5050/- vide R. No. N023242845940360 dated 23.01.2024 (Rs. 3850/- air, Rs. 700/- as NOC regularization fee) against the fixed assets of Rs. 4.57/- which is adequate upto 30.09.2028.
The site of industry was visited by the AEE/JEE of this office on 29.01.2024 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation during visit and engaged in manufacturing of Hardened MS steel parts.
2. The industry is discharging only domestic effluent into sewer.
3. The industry has installed one HSD fired rotary furnace.
4. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.
5. The industry has not installed D.G set in its premises.
6. The industry has submitted building plan from architect approved by Director of Factory, Pb.
7. The industry has applied for fresh consent after depositing NOC regularization fee and the compliance to the conditions of the NOC is attached alongwith in annotated form. The compliance was verified during the visit and found to be correct.
8. The industry is complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027, please.
