File Note: RO has reported that the subject cited project proponent has applied for obtaining consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle for setting up of Marriage Palace at the subject cited site. As per latest categorization the above industry falls in Orange Category. The site as shown by the representative of the project proponent was visited by Assistant Environmental Engineer of this office on 31/01/2024 and observed as under :-. The industry has deposited Rs. 18500/- UTR No. 452684706 dated 28/01/2024 as NOC fee including Rs. 500/- Form Downloading Fee, which is adequate for one year period against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 7,22,91,700/-. The project proponent has submitted relevant documents, which are enclosed along with the application, which may kindly be pursued. The industry was visited by the Officer of this office on 30/01/2024 and observed as under:- 1. The project proponent has started to construct marriage palace in the revenue estate of Village-Kalanaur (Hadbast No. 103), Batala Road, Tehsil-Kalanaur, District-Gurdaspur. 2. The project proponent has started earth work and has constructed boundary wall. The area of the site is about 1.0 acres approximately. 3. The industry has proposed to installed D.G. set of capacity 85 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height. The project proponent was advised to provide hood along with chimney in the kitchen. 4. The project proponent has proposed to construct septic tank along with Oil & Grease Trap for the treatment of waste water and the treated effluent will be used for irrigation of loan and plants in the premises. 5. As submitted by the Project proponent during visit, the plastic waste generated will be lifted by Kabarias and the Bio degradable waste/kitchen waste will be lifted by Piggery Farm Owners. 6. The project proponent was advised to comply with the Noise Rules, 2000. It is further intimated that the industry has submitted permission of Change of Land Use for an area measuring (0.9875 Acres) for Marriage Palace purpose of from Senior Town Planner, Amritsar vide letter no. 28 dated 09/01/2024 which may kindly be perused . The project falls in Orange category in small scale sector, hence competency to decide the case lies with the Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board in the light of Head Office, Patiala letter no. 19650-761 dated 30/04/2013. RO has recommended that consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle may be granted for one year period to the project proponent for the setting up of Marriage Palace with suitable conditions. In view of above, it is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle may be granted for one year period to the project proponent for the setting up of Marriage Palace with suitable conditions along with special conditions as under:- 1. The Marriage Palace shall establish on the same Khasra No. for which the CLU has obtained. 2. The Marriage Palace shall obtain CTO under Water Act and Air Act before commissioning.
