The industry was granted Consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/MOG/2018/8079047 & CTOA/Fresh/MOG/2018/8079009 dt. 08.08.2018 under green category, for operation of cold store for storage of Vegetables & Fruits with validity upto 31.12.2023, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the industry has applied for renewal of Consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for same capacity, the detail of the case is as under:
1. The industry has submitted C.A. certificate showing value of gross fixed assets of the industry as Rs. 174.07 Lakhs as on 31.12.2023 and compliance report of conditions of previous consents. The industry has deposited Rs. 32,000/- vide UTR / Ref. No. 453416342 dt. 29.01.2024 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 32,000/- vide UTR / Ref. No. 915918719 dt. 29.01.2024 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.06.2028 under both the Acts after adjusting NOC fee.
2. The industry has also submitted compliance report of the previous consents granted under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Board vide office order no. CEE(HQ)/F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 02.02.2016 decided to grant auto renewal of consent to operate / establish to orange & green category of industries without the need for visiting the site / premises of the industry in order to facilitate the industry / ease of doing business in the State. Further, submitted that no complaint has been received against the industry in this office and no action is lying pending against the industry as per file record. As per this order, the data, processes & pollution control measures installed by the industry shall be verified at later stage by visiting the site as per inspection guidelines.
Further, as per record file of the industry no complaint is received / pending against the industry and no action is lying pending against the industry as per file record.
Keeping in view of the above, may if approved, consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be renewed for storage of fruits and vegetables for a period upto 31.12.2027, subject to the suitable conditions please.
