The industry has applied for renewal of CTOs. Earlier, CTOs were issued with special condition that the industry shall be bound to apply online for grant of Terms of Reference (ToR) on or before 19/01/2024 in compliance to notification no. S.O. 3250(E) dated 20.07.2022 and notification no. S.O. 3372(E) dated 26.07.2023 of MoEF&CC to obtain Environmental Clearance, failing which this 'consent to operate' shall stand revoked/ cancelled automatically.
