The industry is complying with the conditions imposed in exempted letter & compliance report of exempted letter is as under-
1.land use classification’ letter has been submitted by the industry from District Town Planner (P&R), Sangrur, wherein, it is mentioned that the site area (total land of the industry) bearing khasra no. 3320/277(5-18), 3322/282(3-10) and khasra no. 2488/279(1-3), 281(1-1), 280 min( 0-15). 2926/278(0-2), 2489/279 min (1-15), total measuring 9 bigghe 10 biswas is not located in any nagar counsel/nagar panchayat and the site is located in Notified Local Area Planning of Dhuri, of which, the Master Plan is yet to be prepare. And during the preparation of Master Plan, Dhuri, the site would probably fall in the Agriculture Area.
2. No forest land is affected by the operations of the industry.
3. The industry has installed fire fighting instruments in the industry & it has also obtained permission from fire department.
n view of the above, if approved, it is recommended that the case may be sent to SEE, Zonal Office-II, Patiala for grant of varied consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Casting and V belt pulleys @ 1.25 TPD (without galvanization process) by using Cast iron scrap, Pig iron, Mild steel scrap, Crc scrap, Silicon, Carbon Etc. @ 1.25 T/day upto 30/09/2026 (Competency-Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board), with suitable conditions and additional conditions that:
1. The industry shall obtain permission from the PWRDA for extraction of ground water and shall comply with the guidelines prescribed by the said Authority.
2. The entrepreneur/industry shall obtain necessary statutory permissions
clearances from all other concerned departments.
3. The industry shall not generate and discharge any kind of trade effluent.
4. The industry shall not start wet process without prior approval of the Board.
5. The industry shall not install boiler, furnace without prior approval of the Board.
6. The industry shall be liable to obtain environmental clearance as required under the EIA notification dated 14/9/2006, in case of increase in the production capacity further.
7. The industry shall apply for fresh NOC of the Board, if it changes any of its products/process and also will also apply for varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 in this office.
