Previously no stack sampling was conducted by the Board. Stack emission sample was collected on 14.12.2023 only. As per analysis results of Board’s lab, SPM is reported as 17 mg/Nm3, which is within the prescribed standards of 150 mg/Nm3.
It is recommended that:
1. 'Consent to operate' under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed for short period of six months with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
2. Directions u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be issued to the PSPCL Authorities to restore electric connection of the industry temporary for six months, please.
