It is submitted that based on the visit dated 24.03.2023, wherein it was observed that the hotel had not provided oil and grease trap and had also not obtained for Consent to Operate of the Board, the following directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and 31-A of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 were issued to the hotel:
1. That, hotel management shall stop fresh bookings of rooms with immediate effect including booking being done through online booking agencies.
2. That, hotel management shall issue notice to present customers to vacate hotel within 7 days from the date of the issue of directions with written communication to the respective online booking agencies.
3. That, hotel management shall not allow new occupancy in room even in case there is pre-booking and respective customers shall be informed directly as well as through respective online booking agencies.
4. That, restaurant, kitty hall or any other activity in hotel shall be stopped, with immediate effect.
5. That, hotel shall comply with above directions and discrepancies pointed out by the Board, including obtaining Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, within 15 days.
