The application submitted by the project proponent has been scrutinized and it was observed as under:
1. The detail filled in the application is contradictory to the supporting document submitted by the project proponent i.e. cost of the project with CA certificate, as the cost of project in application form is mentioned as 24.20 crores, whereas, as per CA certificate that cost of project is 29.15 crores.
2. The project proponent has filled incorrect application under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 i.e. the total water consumption is mentioned as 2 KLD only and wastewater generation is mentioned as 19 KLD, which is not possible.
3. The project proponent has not submitted permission from the PWRDA Department for ground water abstraction as per special condition of the previous granted consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. As per clarification issued by PWRDA dated 15.12.2022, all the commercial projects are required to obtain permission from PWRDA for abstraction of ground water.
Being green category, the application form cannot be amended and is required to be returned back being incomplete, therefore, please allow scrutiny of the application. |
