Sir, the industry is a small scale red category unit and has applied for obtaining fresh 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974.
On perusal of application, it has been observed that the industry has been commissioned without NOC of the Board. The industry has failed to submit the documentary proof of permissibility to operate the unit at present site. The industry has not provided environmental data board at main entrance gate.
As per MSME certificate submitted by industry date of commissioning is 06.12.2006 and date of udyam registration is 22.06.2023. It seems that the industry has been shifted from some other place to this location. The industry is required to clarify the above.
Also, date of agreement with M/s JBR Technologies Ltd. Ludhiana is 19.07.2022. The industry has not submitted record w.r.t. fresh water consumption and effluent lifting to M/s JBR Technologies Ltd. Ludhiana from 19.07.2022.
If approved, show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the Water Act 1974 may be issued to the industry with hearing at ZO level, please.
