1. The industry is processing the industrial packing material rejection/plastic waste precured from M/s Duke Fashions Ltd., Ludhiana.
2. The industry has assured to apply for obtaining EPR certificate as re-processor under Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016. 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 are required to apply the same.
3. The industry is a very tiny unit (85 Gaj). There are marginal emissions from the extruder and it has already installed wet scrubber to capture the smell etc. Therefore, no air sampling is required to be conducted.
