Sir, the industry is a small scale orange category unit and has applied for obtaining fresh 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
On perusal of application, it has been observed that the industry has been commissioned without NOC of the Board. The industry has failed to submit the documentary proof of permissibility to operate the unit at present site. The industry has not provided environmental data board at main entrance gate.
The industry has installed rotary Furnace in which HSD is used as fuel but it has failed to install pollution control measures to control air emissions.
If approved, show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the Water Act 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry with hearing at ZO level, please.
