It is submitted that the HCF was earlier granted consent to operate under the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2022/20564949 dated 13.12.2022 which was valid upto 31.12.2023 and the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2023/21467872 dated 26.04.2023 which is valid upto 31.12.2026 for hospital having 90 beds capacity subject to certain terms and conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the HCF has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for hospital having 90 beds capacity alongwith requisite documents.
The HCF has deposited Rs. 9278/- vide R. no. 680692989 dated 26.12.2023 and Rs. 800/- vide R. No. 952177113 dated 19.01.2024 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The fee deposited by the HCF is adequate for one year.
The HCF has submitted analysis report of the emission sample (DG set 500 KVA) carried out by NABL approved laboratory i.e. M/s Centre of Environment and Food Technology Pvt. Ltd. on 28.11.2023, the conc. of the parameter was found within the permissible limits of the Board as tabulated below:

The site of the HCF was visited by the undersigned on 05.02.2024. During the visit, it was observed as under:
1. The hospital was in operation and has installed 90 beds.
2. The hospital has installed DG set of capacity 500 KVA with canopy and adequate stack.
3. The hospital has not installed any furnace/ boiler.
4. There is no other source of air pollution.
5. The hospital is complying with the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
In view of the above, may if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be 31.12.2024 subject to suitable condition.
