It is intimated that the industry was granted consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/HSP/2023/22467474 dated 27.06.2023 valid upto 26.06.2024 for manufacturing of paddy @ 7.5 T/Hr from Rice @ 5 T/hr. along with 02 No. Dryer, 01 No. Shelling Section, 01 No. Sortex Machine with conditions mentioned therein
Now, the industry has applied for consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has submitted CA Certificate, completion of APCD.
The industry has deposited Rs. 42000/- vide UTR No. N353232791813834 dated 19.12.2023 and Rs. 42000/- vide UTR No. N353232791820608 dated 19.12.2023. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2028.
The industry was visited by officers of this office on 01.02.2024 and observed that the rice has installed 01 No. Shelling section with cyclone as APCD and aequate stack height, 01 No. Dryer along with cyclone as APCD and adequate stack height. The industry has installed 01 No. Sortex machine. The industry has provided septic tank for the treatment of domestic effluent and same will be discharged onto land for plantation.
In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2024 with suitable terms and conditions and with special condtion that
1) The rice sheller shall submit analysis report in the next coming season and shall comply with the code of practice prescribed for rice shellers.
2) The rice sheller shall not install any new machinery without prior permission of the Board.
3) The rice sheller shall provided plantation around the periphery of the unit.
4) The rice sheller shall submit the CLU from the concerned Department with 02 months.
