It is submitted that the industry is small Scale/Green Category unit. The industry has applied for consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of the Pollution) Act, 1981 to manufacturing of Bobbins etc. @ 2,50,000 Nos/Day, Rings etc @3,75,000 Nos/Day and Mining Connectors etc @ 6,25,000 Nos/Day using fresh Plastic Granules @ 15 MT/Day as Raw Material alongwith required documents & fee under Green Category No. 3068- Injection molding of plastic{ only from fresh(virgin) plastic granules and only small scale industry Category alongwith required documents & fee.
To verify the facts at site, the industry was visited by the undersigned on 31.01.2024 and observed that:-
1. During visit industry was in operation.
2. The industry has installed 16 Plastic Injection Moulding Machines, out of which 2 were lying in non-operational condition. It has installed 6 Grinder to grind the runner of the product, which is re-used in process as Raw Material.
3. The manufacturing process of the industry is Raw Material Feed to Plasti Injection Moulding MachineProduct Ready Cutting of excess material Packing.
4. The has provided cooling system to re-circulate its cooling water.
5. The industry has provided septic tank to treat the domestic effluent and same is discharged onto land for plantation at the back side in the premises.
6. It has installed a D.G.Set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
7. The plot of the industry has been regularised as Industrial vide Chief Administrator, GLADA, Ludhiana Final Agreement No. 1156 dated 20.06.2017.
8. The industry has submitted the site plan duly approved by Chief Inspector of Factories, PBIP vide his No. PBIP/Add.DoF/435 dated 24.01.2020.
9. The industry has submitted the copy of PSPCL Bill as proof date of commissioning of the industry. As per copy of Bill the electric connection of the industry was released to the industry on 03.08.2022.
10. As per CA Certificate the Fixed assets of the industry is Rs. 236.78 Lacs as on 11.12.2023.
11. The industry has deposited consent fee as under:- (a) Rs. 1,63,125.0 vide R.No. 441990940 Dated 24.01.2024 (Rs. 1,54,700/- as Consent Fee-Water+Rs. 8,400/- as NOC Regularisation Fee + Rs. 25/- as Consent form fee). (b) Rs. 1,54,700/- vide R.No. 88124848 Dated 24.01.2024 as Consent Fee-Air. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.12.2038.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry up to 31.12.2038 with usual conditions.
