Sir, Earlier, the industry was lifting effluent to re-processor as it was using sulphuric acid as raw material. Now, the industry has started using HCl as raw material and made fresh agreement with M/s JBR Technologies Ltd. Ludhiana from Sept 2023. The industry has not submitted proof regaring use of sulphuric acid from Jan 2023 to Aug 2023.
On perusal of application, it has been observed that the industry has not submitted record of water consumption as well as lifting of effluent to re-processor from January 2023 to Aug 2023.
The industry has also not submitted record of water consumption as well as lifting of effluent to CETP operator from Sept 2023 to Jan 2024.
The industry exist at Rana Gas Lane, Sherpur Khurd, and has failed to submit the documentary proof of land use pattern of the area.
If approved, show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the Water Act 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry with hearing at ZO level, please.
