CTOA/Varied/LDH2/2019/10321517 dated 16.08.2019 valid upto 30.09.2023 for manufacturing of Rough Steel Forgings items @ 09 TPD using various grades of iron & steel @ 11 TPD.
Now, industry has applied renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, alongwith documents through OCMMS.
1. The industry has submitted the copy of Building Plan duly approved by the Competent person approved by the Director of Factories, Punjab.

The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 31.07.2029.
The site of the industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 02.02.2024 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation and engaged in the manufacturing of rough steel forging items.
2. The industry has installed total 5 hammers with 4 oil fired heating furnaces and 1 induction heater.
3. The industry has provided adequate stack height to its 4 no. filed fired heating furnaces.
4. The industry has installed 02 shot blasting machines to whom bag filter house provided as APCDs with adequate stack height.
5. The industry has installed 02 DG sets of capacities one of 125 KVA & other of 500 KVA with canopies and adequate stack height.
6. The industry has submitted an undertaking that industry is using the furnace oil containing Sulphur contents < 1.8% by weight and also submitted the copy of testing reports of furnace oil of dated 22.5.2023 and 26.6.2023 vide which Total Sulphur contents found 1.019 and 1.135 respectively.
7. No trade effluent was being generated by the industry. Cooling Water is re-circulated and domestic effluent is discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank.
8. The industry is complying with consents conditions granted to it.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2028.
