Earlier the industry was granted Consent to Operate under the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, vide no. CTOA/Renew/LDH1/2020/12166366 dated 18.02.2020 valid upto 18.02.2024 for manufacturing of garments @ 6000 Numbers/day.
Now, the industry has applied for Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
The industry has filled online application form, uploaded Latest CA certificate, compliance report. The industry has deposited Rs. 316800/- vide no. SBINR52024013098877403 dated 30.01.2024 under Air Act, 1981. The adequacy of fee deposited by the industry is upto 31.12.2027.
The industry was visited by officer of this office on 05.02.2024 and observed as under:
1. The industry is a garment manufacturing unit and engaged in cutting/stitching of garments.
2. The industry was in operation during visit.
3. The industry is not having any Water/Air polluting process and domestic effluent generating from the industry is being discharged into sewer, which is further treated in terminal STP of the city.
In view of above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted 'Consent to Operate' under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 31.12.2027 with suitable condition as per policy of the Board please.
