The month wise details for the last 2 years has been given in the note dated 30.01.2024.
Further it is submitted that the industry has not adequate plantation area for discharge of effluent @ 330 KLD in Winters (November, December, January, February) and in Rainy season (July and August).
However, the industry can be allowed to discharge only 294 KLD and 291 KLD in Winters & Rainy season respectively.
In view above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 upto 31.03.2027 with special conditions as under:
1. The industry shall not discharge its trade effluent more than 291 KLD in Rainy season (July and August) as the industry has not adequate plantation area.
2. The industry shall not discharge its trade effluent more than 294 KLD in Winters (November, December, January, February) as the industry has not adequate plantation area. |
