It is intimated that the HCF is 03 bedded.
Now, the hospital has applied for Fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with requisite documents.
The hospital has deposited Rs. 5000/- vide UTR no. INDBN15110540636 dated 15.11.2023, Rs. 6000/- vide UTR no. INDBN06018901249 dated 06.01.2024 under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 5000/- vide UTR no. INDBN15110540437 dated 15.11.2023 & Rs. 6000/- vide UTR no. INDBN06018895267 dated 06.01.2024 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, adequate upto 31.03.2027.
As per Board office order no. 04 dated 10.04.2018, the authorization (fresh/renewal) under Bio/Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 applied by the healthcare facilities upto 20 beds/dental chairs will be granted by the concerned Regional Office within 07 days of receipt of complete application without making inspection of those healthcare facilities.
As per application of the hospital, the hospital is having bed capacity of 03 as per certificate submitted by the hospital. The domestic effluent is discharged into sewer. The hospital has provided liquid treatment system at OT and lab. The hospital has not installed STP but is connected with terminal STP. The hospital has granted authorization under BMW (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016, which is valid upto 30.09.2025.
Keeping the above In view, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to hospital upto 30.09.2025 with special condition the hospital shall comply with general discharge standards and shall submit analysis report.
