Sir, the industry is a small scale red category unit and has applied for fresh of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974.
The industry has been established without NOC of the Board
The site of industry was visited by RO on 01.02.2024 and it was reported as under:-
1. The industry was in operation during visit and engaged in process of H.B. wire.
2. The industry has signed agreement with M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., Focal Point, Phase-8 Ludhiana @ 2500 Ltr/M for the treatment & disposal of trade effluent generated from process.
3. The industry could not show any record of water consumption and effluent lifting.
4. The house keeping of the industry is poor.
5. The industry has not any certificate regarding site suitability of the industry.
6. The industry is not complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974.
In view of the above, it is recommended that show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be issued to the industry with hearing at ZO level, please.
