Sir, the industry was granted Consent to establish (NOC for first time) dated 18.01.2024 valid upto 30.09.2024.
Now, the industry has applied for Consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Plastic Paint Containers, Lubricant Containers, Ice Cream & Food Container, Pet Bottles by using raw material i.e. PPCP (Polypropylene Copolymer), HDPE (high-density polyethylene), LDPE (low-density polyethylene), plastic granules.
Manufacturing process : Plastic granuels-Extruder maching-Moulds of desired shape-laser printing-final product.
The industry was visited by RO on 05.02.2024 and it was reported as under:
1. The industry was not in operation during the visit and has installed all the machinery proposed in the NOC application form for manufacturing of Plastic Paint Containers, Lubricant Containers, Ice Cream & Food Container, Pet Bottles @ 2095.2 MT/Year.
2. There is no generation of trade effluent, the entire cooling water and child water will be re-circulated.
3. The domestic effluent is being discharge onto land for plantation after septic tank.
4. The industry has also provided one rain water harvesting pit.
5. The cooling water used in the extruding machines will be recirculated
6. The industry has installed one DG set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy & adequate stack height.
7. The industry is not manufacturing any SUP item.
8. The industry is complying with the NOC conditions as well as the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
9. As per DTP certificate vide bearing no. 265 dated 01.02.2024, the industry falls under industrial zone.
Deposited consent fee is adequate upto 30.06.2029.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted 'Consent to Operate' under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 30.06.2029 for manufacturing of Plastic Paint Containers, Lubricant Containers, Ice Cream & Food Container, Pet Bottles with suitable condition and additional conditions that:
1.The industry shall obtain registration under EPR under Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016. 2. The industry shall not manufacture any kind of single use or banned plastic items.
