The application of the project proponent has been scrutinized and it was observed as under:
1. The project proponent has submitted CA certificate with the value of fixed assets of Rs. 97.83 crore. As per the CA certificate, the value of fixed assets has increased from Rs. 95.83 crore to 97.83 crore. However, the industry has not deposited NOC regularization fee in this regard.
2. The industry has uploaded a copy of letter dated 16.05.2023 issued by STP SAs Nagar regarding permission to run existing industry. However, there is no mention of name of the industry in the said letter. As such, suitability of site to continue operation at the site could not be ascertained.
3. The industry has been issued show cause notice for violations of the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 by PPCB vide letter no. 10628 dated 05.02.2024 (copy attached). The industry is required to submit reply of the said notice within the prescribed time.
As such, the application cannot be processed at this stage.
If approved, the application may be returned online, with the request to resubmit the same after attending above observations.
