It is submitted that the industry has applied fresh consent to operate under green category under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Churan/Powder 100 Kgs/day, Capsule @ 200000 Numbers/Day, Tablet @ 150000 Numbers/Day, Syrup (200ml) @ 1000 Numbers/Day by using raw material as Amla @ 100 Kgs/day, Harad @ 100 Kgs/day, Baheda @ 100 Kgs/day, Giloy @ 10 Kgs/day, Ashwgandha @ 10 Kgs/day, Dalchinni @ 10 Kgs/day, Kalmegh @ 10 Kgs/day, Triphla @ 12 Kgs/day, Saunf @ 13 Kgs/day, Gokhru @ 10 Kgs/day, Bhrindraj @ 18 Kgs/day, Bhumi Amla @ 10 Kgs/day, Makoy @ 10 Kgs/day, Alovera @ 12 Kgs/day, Noni @ 10 Kgs/day, Shankhpushpi @ 10 Kgs/day, Neem @ 11 Kgs/day, Shatavri @ 16 Kgs/day, Guduchi @ 10 Kgs/day, Tulsi @ 12 Kgs/day, Kutki @ 10 Kgs/day, Chop Chinni @ 10 Kgs/day, Pitapapra @ 12 Kgs/day, Ashok Chal @ 10 Kgs/day, Pipli @ 14 Kgs/day, Vasa @ 13 Kgs/day, Moringa @ 20 Kgs/day alongwith requisite documents.
The industry has deposited Rs. 36600/- vide UTR No. N348222248363846 dated 14.12.2022 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 34900/- vide UTR No. N348222248363199 dated 14.12.2022 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 17.07.2032 after adjusting late fee / penalty against the total cost of the industry 50 lacs.
The industry has submitted a copy of letter issued by M/s Janta Land Promoter Limited vide memo no. JLPL/Indl./Con./Allotment(IR-8719)/2012/88-86 dated 19.04.2012 regarding issuance of re-allotment letter of plot no. 966 of 500.24sq.yards in Janta Industrial Estate, Sector-82, SAS Nagar to Sh. Charan Kishore Singla S/o Sh. Nathu Ram Singla, H. No. 772, Sector-43, Chandigarh.
The industry has submitted building plan approved by Er. Rajnish Kumar Singla, Competent Person under Factories Act.
The site of the industry was visited by the undersigned on 07.02.2023. During the visit, it was observed as under:
1. The industry was in operation and is engaged in formulation of ayurvedic drugs. The industry is in operation since September 2016.
2. About 5000 ltrs/month of fresh water is used in the industry and about 500 ltrs/month wastewater is generated which is treated in electric evaporator.
3. The industry has provided wastewater at inlet of electric evaporator & its reading was noted as 07 m3. The industry was advised to maintain its record.
4. Wastewater generated from DM plant is also treated in electric evaporator.
5. The industry has installed DG set of capacity 62.5 KVA equipped with canopy & stack of adequate height.
6. The fresh supply is provided by JLPL & domestic effluent is discharged into JLPL sewer.
7. No boiler / furnace is installed.
In view of the above, may if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2031 subject to suitable condition and following additional conditions that:
1. This consent to operate is valid for manufacturing of ayurvedic drugs Churan/Powder 100 Kgs/day, Capsule @ 200000 Numbers/Day, Tablet @ 150000 Numbers/Day, Syrup (200ml) @ 1000 Numbers/Day.
2. The industry will stick to the production capacity mentioned in this consent and will not increase the same without prior written permission of the Board.
3. The industry shall not start any other new process within its unit which may change its category from Green to Orange/ Red, without the prior written permission of the Board.
4. The industry shall obtain permission from other concern departments, if need be.
